Ceilometro ZCL3

ZCL3 Ceilometer is a radar device that uses a laser emission source to measure cloud height and cloud cover. Determine the height of the cloud base by measuring the time it takes for a laser pulse to travel from the transmitter to the cloud base and then reflect back to the receiver.

The laser emits laser pulses vertically upward. If there is a cloud above the transmitter, there will be strong back scattering.

By measuring and calculating the signal received by the receiver, the height of the cloud layer can be determined. The cloud cover information can be obtained through time statistics or by scanning the light beam.

ZCL3 Ceilometer widely used to detect the spatiotemporal distribution of clouds and other aerosols, cloud base height, cloud thickness, cloud cover, PBL layer and vertical visibility detection, cloud condensation nodule detection and cloud spatial physical process detection, meteorological observation, airport meteorological observation and ocean atmospheric detection.
