Hardware and Functionality

The Portaflow electronics are housed in a specially designed enclosure, which incorporates the graphic display, keypad, sensor, and output plant connections. The unit is set up by selecting protected options in the main menu and following the simple instructions in one of the user-selectable languages.

The use of a rechargeable battery allows the unit to operate for a period exceeding 14 hours, depending on the facilities used. Continuous operation via the power supply is also possible while the battery is charging. Battery status, signal strength, time and data, as well as flow and energy information are all constantly maintained, allowing the user to always be up-to-date on the measurement process.

Flow Measurement for Liquid Energy Metering

PF333 is an easy-to-use portable flow and heat/energy meter that uses ultrasound to measure flow rate and PT100 temperature sensors to measure flow and return temperature. PF333 measures energy flow rate and total energy. Heat/energy calculation is designed to meet EN1434, section 6 standard.

Flow Transducers

The Portaflow range can operate with different sets of transducers depending on the unit developed and the application. Optional high-temperature sensors are also available on the PF333. Sensor mounting clamps are supplied with each instrument to ensure correct mounting and reliable operation on pipes of any size, in both diagonal and reflex modes.
